Started as HEAT Treks & Tours.
1999
HEAT started with a vision to help people around the world to have their perfect holiday. Seeing the growing demand & the changing face of the tourism industry, an exclusive division was launched in the name- HEAT FLEXI HOLIDAYS… Wholesale Holiday maker for Sikkim & Darjeeling . As the name explains, this division looks into, the leisure & MICE business to Bhutan, Sikkim & Darjeeling. Currently this division is also being trained to handle the operations for Myanmar.
2000
Seeing the global scenario and the growing percentage of Indian traveling (Domestic Tourist) within India and Abroad an exclusive division was launched namely HEAT TRAVELS… Your Home Travel Consultant.
2002
HEAT was awarded National Gold Award by the International Business Council for promoting tourism in West Bengal.
2004
HEAT became an IATA and got itself registered as Active agent with TAAI (Travel Agent Association of India) & TAFI (Travel Agents Federation of India). HEAT successfully served 200 customers to overseas destination from Siliguri.
2007
More than 200 Honeymoon couples travelled and rated us as their best holiday consultant.
2008
We touched total of 2000 passengers, which was highest till now.
2009
HEAT gets the first “National Award” as The Best Tour Operator for North East Region accorded by Ministry of Tourism, Government of India.
2010
HEAT gets awarded with “The National Award” as The Best Tourist Transport Operator by Ministry of Tourism, Government of India.

HEAT gets affiliated as member in Trade Bodies of India & Abroad like IATO (Indian Association of Tour Operators), TAAI (Travel Agents Association of India), PATA (Pacific Asia Travel Association, India & International Chapter), EHTTOA (Eastern Himalaya Travel & Tours Operators Association), HRAEI (Hotel & Restaurant Association of Eastern India), FOCIN (Federation of Chambers of Commerce & Industry, North Bengal), etc.
